Become an Informed Good Neighbor to our Afghan Refugee Families

Wed Feb 22 | 7 - 8:30 pm Baxter Hall

Would you like to become more aware of what our Afghan families have left behind in their home country? This is an evening to learn more about their culture and families, their familiar foods and traditions. But they have also left behind years of conflict and danger because of their support role with US troops and diplomats.

This is an opportunity to hear from professionals with a depth of understanding of the losses and possibilities facing our new Afghan friends. It is also a time to meet others from the Capitol Hill worship communities who have participated in the Welcome Team for the families.

When: Wednesday, February 22, Baxter Hall from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.

All are welcome!
